Rättighetsfokus [Human Rights Focus] is a Swedish human rights based consultancy service, aiming at increasing peoples understanding and knowledge of human rights, by making them practical, concrete and easy to grasp.

Rättighetsfokus [Human Rights Focus] supports schools, universities, city governments, health care ministries, organisations, authorities and companies in their work with human rights, democratic values and projects beneficial for the society.

Rather than focusing on a specific human rights area, Rättighetsfokus [Human Rights Focus] is based on all the UN and EU declarations and conventions in the field of human rights. This broad base is of outmost importance when supporting various actors who are obliged to follow, uphold, inform about and work with the diverse areas of human rights.

Rättighetsfokus [Human Rights Focus] was founded in March 2009 by the director Susann Swärd. She has previously worked with UNICEF and Amnesty at a national Swedish level, as well as internationally with Mandamus, Save the Children Europe Office and UNICEF Vietnam. She has furthermore worked at the Kronoberg County Council, Research & Development Institute Kronoberg and Växjö University.

Susann Swärd is currently sharing her time between running Rättighetsfokus and working as Human Rights and Child Rights Advisor at Kronoberg County Council.
